Time to blank out a cryptic commentator

THREE cheers for Edward O’Raghallaigh (‘Long and short of a cryptic commentator’, Irish Examiner letters, April 17).

I have no doubt that many readers found themselves nodding in agreement with his criticism of the self-absorbed musings of Keith Nolan on your letters page and on the pages of other publications.

His humourless one-liners have often prompted me to ponder whether Mr Nolan has relatives working at the editorial desks of every newspaper in the country.
