RECENTLY I went to the NRA website to complain about the new road layout at the junction in Farran, Co Cork, where, tragically, a young cyclist was killed recently.

Why are there three contact people with responsibility for archaeology at the NRA and only one for road safety?

Surely the NRA should have more resources devoted to the safety of the living than the preservation of bones.
