Celtic Tiger could have used this man’s wings
When Mr Walsh took over the position, the company was in disarray and on the brink of bankruptcy, even having to sell its paintings. To have turned it around to a profitable position in such a short space of time is nothing short of remarkable and a testament to his excellent financial management.
What a pity he was not Finance Minister during the era of the Celtic Tiger.
