AGE Action Ireland is asking older people to contact us by confidential freephone 1800 317 417 this month if they feel they have been discriminated against in any way on age grounds.

We invite people to tell us their story.

If your are an older person, have you been refused health services because of your age - for example, BreastCheck?

Is there a major difficulty in getting car or travel insurance or being accepted for education courses?

Have you been refused a job or promotion because of the date on your birth cert. You tell us, we will tell them - the Government, planners, academics and the general public - how life can be difficult for older people
