I DON’T understand why anybody should be surprised at Dublin being much more expensive than anywhere else in Ireland.

Apart from the fact that this applies to most capital cities, it is exacerbated by government refusal to take seriously the simple fact that successful countries have more than one business centre.

If Galway, Cork, Limerick/Shannon, Letterkenny and Waterford had received proper attention, planning and funding over the last 20 years, the whole country would be far better off now.
