Airline’s high price for an early return home
It’s easy to see why the airline’s profits are up. Think of all the moneymaking schemes they have in place, from blankets not being provided for daylight flights to charging now for the ‘complimentary’ drink. Surely the most lucrative is the exorbitant price they charge passengers to change a ticket.
After paying €575 for a recent trip to America I had to return home earlier then expected.
When I contacted the airline to change my departure date they informed me I would have to pay an additional $400 (€350) to fly home earlier.
What happened to the seat I vacated? Did Aer Lingus re-sell this to another unfortunate passenger?
