Case for smokers based on fiction

YOU entitled the letter from John Mallon, ‘Passive smoking: fact and fiction’ (Irish Examiner, June 27).

Obviously, the fiction comes from Mr Mallon. He is apparently well-versed in obfuscation.

He asks why there are no death certificates that state, “cause of death: environmental tobacco smoke (ETS).”
