Firemen are grateful for the chorus of approval

I WANT to thank Joe Martin (Irish Examiner letters, Dec 18) for his kind comments about us and the song we composed for New York and the American people.

The song is called Christmas New York Greetings of Love or, as we reverentially call it, An Irish Memorial Song to the Fallen of 9/11.

People in Ireland can hear it at www.corkcity.ie/firebrigadeunit or by requesting that it be played on local radio stations. To date over 300 copies of the song have been sent to the US and Canada and almost 200 copies have been circulated in Ireland.
