IN his letter (Irish Examiner, February 13), Tom Whelan is spot-on regarding the back-stabbing by the Dublin airport authority on the charges facing Cork airport.

As an American I wonder when will I be able to fly from Boston direct to Cork. Direct flights from New York, Chicago and Boston to Cork are long overdue.
