Media circus should pitch tent elsewhere

FOR a number of years we in Limerick have been the butt of ‘humorous’ remarks about ‘stab city,’ etc.

If we complained we were told that we had a chip on our shoulders; if we remained silent the 'humour' persisted.

I don't claim that Limerick is crime-free or a Utopian society, but then neither is any part of the country.
