The high level of care cannot be overvalued. The service in Kerry is second to none, and is enhanced by a high level of co-operation between public health and hospice nurses.

This shows what can be achieved when a service is designed around the patient’s needs.

I hope that the Southern Health Board continues to provide this invaluable service to the people who need it.
