Ireland the dear
Principally, it has espoused the euro. As a consequence, I believe Ireland has changed, negatively and irrevocably.
It is a shock to the system, and of course to the pocket, to realise how awfully expensive Ireland as become. As a tourist, it is also my opinion, that Ireland now harbours a rip-off economy. It would be equally fair to suggest that it is the most expensive country to live in, or visit in Europe.
One can only feel sympathy for the ordinary people of Ireland. Economic Ireland’s dead and gone. It’s with the euro in the grave.
