Heavy going as commuters await light rail

IN DUBLIN, Luas was the only consolation for many enduring 40-minute waits in the rain for buses that should be every five minutes.

Its reassuring promotional campaigns gave a glimmer of hope to all those passively inhaling cannabis on the top deck of buses to and from the south-west of the city.

However, watching the Luas website over the last few months ought to have been enough to make sceptics out of naive optimists like me.
