It’s nauseating to see Sinn Féin’s intimidation tactics paying off once again

IT is utterly nauseating that the sovereign Government of the Republic of Ireland has now decided to relent to a political party — Sinn Fein — who instructed their supporters not to co-operate with either the RUC or the gardaí in the investigation of the Omagh atrocity

It’s nauseating to see Sinn Féin’s intimidation tactics paying off once again

To stay off the streets of Belfast for the funeral of Jean McConville, which resulted in that city resembling a ghost town during her cortege; who did not apologise or take part in the 30-year anniversary and commemoration of those butchered and maimed by six-inch nail bombs lobbed into basement pubs by their colleagues in Birmingham; and, whose five TDs stood proudly and smiling with the five killers of Garda Jerry McCabe in Castlerea prison having their photographs taken.

The gang that killed Jerry McCabe actually had their eventual sentences massively reduced because the original charge of murder had to be dropped after the main prosecution witness withdrew his testimony as a result of intimidation. Not happy with that, Sinn Féin have persistently sought their early release.
