Military eggheads and Irish omelettes

WHILE listening to BBC Radio 5 recently I heard the commanding officer of Aldershot RAF base being asked if he was not anxious about potential casualties among the 2,000 personnel from his area who were fighting in the Gulf.

His answer was instructive: “You can’t make omelettes without breaking a few eggs.”

Shame on our Taoiseach and TDs for facilitating the “eggheads”.
