Rent allowance prejudice is rife

IN regard to Paul Murphy's letter yesterday (Irish Examiner, July 17) calling for a clampdown on landlords who reject rent allowance tenants, I would argue that the problem goes a little further.

estate agencies turning away tenants eligible for rent allowance without even first consulting the property owner.
