Look to students for illegal drug sales

CAN I ask Pat Leahy (‘Only criminals gain from drugs ban,’ Irish Examiner letters, February 13) if he would give us non-academics a clearer picture of what he is really trying to say?

I believe that without the support of college students and postgraduates, illegal drug sales would be halved in Cork city alone.

Mr Leahy should conduct his own study inside the college gates and match it with garda reports as to what type of clients are filling the pockets of the drug barons.
