THANK you for your splendid coverage, including the fabulous photograph, of the gathering on Tara of our Druid community for the midsummer solstice (Irish Examiner, June 22).

Not since we celebrated the Peace of Tara there on midsummer day 1997 has there been such a fine, colourful and enthusiastic gathering on Tara.

We will be back on the old hill for our Festival of Lughnasadh, July 29-August 1, and we hope for an even bigger attendance with the best of music, song, poetry, pageantry and dance to celebrate life itself.
