IT’S claimed that more non-national workers will be needed to keep our economy going even though there are thousands of long-term unemployed in Ireland who are more than willing to work.

It was a surprise recently to hear FÁS, who are well aware of unemployment figures, making the case for more non-national workers.

Does this really mean that we need more cheap, exploitable labour?
