YOUR report (Irish Examiner, August 6) that a group called CADIC (Coalition Against Deportation of Irish Children) has been formed.

They are worried about rejected asylum seekers and illegal immigrants being deported with their Irish-born children.

The only difference between the situation of these deported families and such families deported from any other EU state is that the child, in this case, has a citizenship it would not have got in any other EU state but Ireland.
