I REFER to the report of prisoners receiving compensation for injuries sustained while in jail (Irish Examiner, August 17).

I suggest that their victims now sue them for personal injuries or damage to property, and to avail of the free legal aid scheme when doing so. After all, what’s sauce for the goose...
