Miracle workers

I WISH to voice my support for A&E staff, especially those at the Mercy Hospital, Cork.

Miracle workers

I spent almost 48 hours there on a trolley (I was thankful for it!), and the staff could not have been kinder to me.

They are working in impossible conditions. Six or seven of us who could not get beds had to have all the regular procedures carried out and, of course, we had to be fed. The system simply isn't geared for all of this.

The staff put up with a lot of moaning and abuse they are miracle workers.

It is impossible to apportion blame with all the political scurrying going on, but when the next elections come up I know who I'm not voting for. My thanks to all of them, including the staff of St Anthony's and St Catherine's wards.
