Now let’s show proof of our independence
Already we have witnessed too much dilution of the people’s rights to decide on fundamental issues by referring them to the judiciary.
The use of our airports by friendly states to wage war against people who are no threat to us, or with whom we have no quibble, is against the wishes of most Irish people and is a matter of grave concern to fair-minded people in the USA and Britain who oppose the war in Iraq.
