Thanks for the help

I WOULD like to thank the Irish Examiner for publishing my letter to Minister Mícheál Martin on Tuesday, February 18.

Thanks for the help

You took a very brave stance in supporting me to highlight a few obstructions within the health system for the people using the service.

As you are aware, I have been granted 10 hours personal assistance and CIL are in the process of recruiting someone. Had it not been for my letter to Mr Martin on February 8 and media coverage on the 18th and 19th, I might probably still be waiting for a response.

My PA started on Thursday last week This will free my family from some of the personal care they had to compulsorily provide to me from November 13, 2002, to January 9.
