ACCORDING to the late Eamonn Kelly, St Patrick never came to Kerry because the Cork people stole his donkey.

If the culprits are still alive, maybe they would do us the honour of returning the poor beast so that we can witness the arrival of the saint in our town for this national holiday.

Then we can then wet the shamrock in earnest and paint our town green.
