team should be congratulated on their wonderful results to date, they would be the first to admit that they have not always played well.

David Humphreys played well against Scotland, behind a pack going forward, but has since had three bad games, when the Irish forwards have struggled.

Humphreys closes down the space for the multi-talented backs, while O’Gara showed in one sublime skip pass to O’Driscoll that he is needed to unlock the much vaunted English defence.
