The anti-abortionists who back child executions

SINCE 1990 Amnesty International has documented 36 child executions (under-18) in eight countries, including the Congo, Iran, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, China and the Yemen.

Top of the list is the USA, which executed 19 children, more than half of all documented cases.

Texas - home to the God-fearing President George W Bush - leads the way. Since 1977, 13 of the 22 child executions in the US have been in Texas. The paradox that sees a tidal wave of anti-abortion sentiment emanating from evangelical Christians who deem child executions acceptable is perplexing.
