Nursing home scandal
It is abominable that elderly people are so used and abused.
Those of us who bore the heat of the day as workers in the 1950s and ‘60s, and who put down the foundation for the Celtic Tiger, have now much to fear in the autumn of life. This is no way to treat the elderly.
Despite this and other scandals, the Government can take a break now for three months. I wonder how many OAPs can avail of such a holiday?
