AN article in the Irish Examiner of June 24 contained a serious allegation about Vhi Healthcare which cannot be overlooked.

The article headed ‘FF broken promises fail to con electorate’ included a clear implication that the timing of the 3% Vhi Healthcare price increase notification was delayed until after the recent elections.

Since the announcement was made by Vhi Healthcare, this amounts to a clear suggestion that we were involved in some political game-plan.
