Car park charges are abuse of monopoly

I have just returned from a two-week holiday. My car was parked in the long-term car park of Dublin airport. The cost of parking was €93. This is nothing short of robbery and an abuse of monopoly power. Needless to say, there were many empty spaces in the long-term car park. I now know why.

I trust the Government will stand firm in their plans to open up the airports to competition. They will have the support of the vast majority of the people.
