THE Irish Dominican Fathers have given sterling service here in Trinidad and Tobago.

Forgotten heroes

Among them was the late Archbishop Patrick Finbarr Ryan, OP, who built a sound education system here. He died on January 10, 1975, in Ireland.

Posthumously, the government of Trinidad and Tobago bestowed on him its highest honour - the Trinity Cross.
