We were not welcome

IT IS fallacious to say the Irish should welcome all refugees/asylum seekers because we were made so welcome in America and Canada all those years ago. It is not true.

One country, claiming to be the mother of all democracies, gave our dispossessed people no welcome at all. In fact that country caused the problem in the first place.

The World Council of Churches, Amnesty, UNHCR, Concern, Trócaire, Goal, Dublin Aids Alliance, the Lefties, Labour, the Irish Refugee Council, the do-gooders and bleeding hearts would have us open our hospital doors to all.
