Debt honoured

AS two of the many people who suffered small financial loss through the recent failure of Jetmagic in Cork, can we say how heartened we were to receive a cheque in the mail reimbursing us for the cost of our tickets.

It is good to know, in these times of questionable business values and behaviour, that the shareholders of this company should elect (without any legal compulsion) to reimburse small clients such as ourselves.

Indeed, the accompanying letter states that all reimbursed funds have been generated from certain shareholders' personal funds. It is a great shame that Jetmagic, an airline that served its clients' needs with courtesy and efficiency, did not succeed.
