Leaked papers show real threat
David Trimble’s unionists are up against it now that they know that the IRA’s propaganda is being drip-fed to the Irish electorate through our government’s official policy papers. How else to interpret the almost casual acceptance of terrorist activity on both sides of the border as being insignificant defensive operations.
Brian Cowen’s Department of Foreign Affairs should be ashamed of themselves for not pointing the finger at the dysfunctional IRA itself, its ever hungry political arm, Sinn Fein, and the failure to acknowledge the true threat to our democracy.
