AS the benchmarking body will not justify its report that teachers' pay only requires a 13% adjustment, I believe that its methods are called into question.

A Deloitte & Touche analysis found a 32% pay rise was needed. At this stage, perhaps a statement from that firm would be a helpful addition to the debate.

Such a stark contrast in findings should not remain ignored.
