Herbalists who are members of the Irish Association of Medical Herbalists follow an accredited training to degree level. They are trained in the safe and effective use of herbal medicine including its use in conjunction with orthodox medication.

The IAMH (Irish Association of Medical Herbalists) is the main regulatory body for Medical Herbalists in Ireland and follows a western tradition of herbal use.
