LAST month an RTÉ Prime Time programme on the motor trade highlighted a serious problem with the whole approach to rip-off Ireland. There is a serious flaw in the thinking on what constitutes anti-competitive activity.

Where is the team concept in competition? A team has rules, guidelines, orders and punishment set out for its members.

The purpose of the team is to do battle against competition with a view to winning.
