Finlay is hawking a failed socialist cant
Any one planning the next terrorist attack in the name of anti-Americanism must be looking to Ireland as a potential base.
Michael McDowell and Mary Harney brought this country to unprecedented levels of prosperity, and removed unemployment in the brief periods their party shared government.
Progress was brought about by pro-enterprise policies and American investment.
I challenge Mr Finlay to go to any factory in this country and try to spread his anti-American rhetoric among workers depending on American investment for their jobs.
He will find that Mr McDowell and Ms Harney have more support for their views than the old failed socialist cant he is still hawking around.
Not all anti-war marchers are anti-American. Some are nice, harmless socialists who view the world from the safety of their intellectual ivory towers.
When they are proven wrong again, these same luvvies will unashamedly run for the protection of America.
