Her parents, and others, too, shared their tragic story to raise funds for childcare.
By doing so (remember, they need not have), Billy and Lanlih showed an everyday greatness, humanity, and warmth that honoured their daughter’s memory.
Their honesty, and the love they radiated for their child, was so powerful that €470,000 has been raised already. More is expected.
Billy Holland said no words could describe the grief he and Lanlih felt when Emmeline died, but by theiractions, their selflessness, they shone a light from a dark tunnel, one others in a similar situation must find comforting.
