The 007 actor Daniel Craig has given his blessing to actress Emilia Clarke in her quest to become the first woman to take on the role of Bond when he finally gives up his Licence To Kill.

His support should go a long way, considering he was the first blond Bond. Up to then they were all dark-haired, among them the quintessential Englishman, Roger Moore; a craggy Scot, Sean Connery; and our own Pierce Brosnan.
