Many European cities share common problems, but because of cultural differences, they respond differently. Some ban or limit cars and make some streets pedestrian-only.
Others shy away from such innovation, imagining it too risky. Some,in an effort to stop killing their citizens by air pollution, ban diesel vehicles. Others order fleets of new diesel buses.
