Since Ireland won the Grand Slam, at Twickenham, on St Patrick’s Day — yes, the score bears repeating — by beating England 24-15, Leinster have won the European Cup and the Pro 12 titles.

These achievements, envied by the sugar daddies of English and French rugby, are accentuated by Munster’s participation at the latter stages of both of those competitions.
