Bypassing law discards democracy

From the outset of the current anti-bin charge campaign the protesters have been vocal about their democratic rights.

It is a bit much that they have shown so little regard for the democratic rights of others.

This is not about anybody’s right to protest; it is about the actions of a small minority holding a community to ransom. A tiny minority can disrupt a democracy, if they are allowed to operate outside the law.
