As Environment Minister Martin Cullen told British Energy Minister Brian Wilson yesterday, it is absolutely unacceptable for British Nuclear Fuels to continue discharging radioactive waste into the Irish Sea.

As a result of the company’s shameful tactics, the waters off Ireland’s east coast now contain the greatest concentration of radioactive pollution in the world.
