Anti-social behaviour - Yob culture must be tackled

Anti-social behaviour and crime threaten the most basic of freedoms of our society.

Elderly people in many areas are afraid or unable to sleep at night in their own homes because of the danger of being burgled or attacked by out-of-control youths.

The gardaí complain that they do not have the necessary powers to tackle this growing yob culture.
