Thanawat Tiensin, Agnes Kalibata, and Martin Cole assert that the UN must bring forward its plans to address poverty and safeguard our global food security

While supply chains in Ireland have proved sufficiently robust to withstand the crisis, existing United Nations programmes addressing poverty must be accelerated, in order to safeguard the food security of some 820m people who already do not have enough to eat.
