The Healy-Raes lap of honour across Kerry has to be seen to be believed

Move over the Rose of Tralee, there’s new royalty in the Kingdom - The Healy-Raes.

With a landslide number of votes the famous Healy-Rae brothers made history yesterday, when they became the first siblings to represent the same constituency in Dáil Eireann at the same time.

And yeerah shure fath else would you do in Kerry after winning such a title?

A lap of honour around the county to thank all the voters personally of course.

With Garda escort in tow, the duo paraded through the streets of Killarney, Castleisland and the surrounding parishes of north Kerry before joining the celebrations in their home town of Kilgarvan.
