Urgent need for investment in Ireland’s water infrastructure

Water is a vital resource that many developed nations take for granted. The abundance of water in Ireland is one of our many natural advantages and investment in this resource to satisfy all stakeholders is critical for our continued success.

Ireland is experiencing a positive upturn in economic growth and development. We are continuing to attract foreign direct investment, jobs are being created, and residential and commercial construction is under way. However, we have a water infrastructure which is not equipped to support a growing economy and society.
