Éamon planted seeds in many young minds

MANY years ago, I was working in The Burren, making a radio programme about botany for RTÉ.

A strange figure suddenly appeared: A slim, agile man cradling an Arriflex cine camera with a long lens in his arms and jumping nimbly from rock to rock.

He came closer and I recognised one of my heroes. Éamon de Buitléar was out filming wild goats.
