Sometimes, when I read about high-level peace talks, or fancy-schmancy conferences, I wonder what the dynamic is when the “participants” arrive.

Take Paschal Donohoe and Leo Varadkar, for instance. This week the pair took off to the Bilderberg group meeting in Madrid. How excited they must have been! Imagine the nervous banter in Dublin Airport, neither willing to betray the childlike nervousness they must have felt.
